Timetable: Saturdays 10am-6pm, Sundays 10am-2pm
Programme: 60 hours
A five-weekend naturopathic journey into mind, emotion, and holistic wellbeing.
Understand · Regenerate · Integrate
How can we understand ourselves more deeply, restore balance in our lives and reconnect with a greater sense of purpose?
Regeneration is a practical and experiential course inspired by the principles of naturopathy, traditional systems of healing and the enduring wisdom found in our relationship with nature.
Across five 12-hour weekend sessions, we will explore different ways of understanding the mind, emotions, body and our relationship with the natural world. We will draw upon meditation and emotional awareness, Ayurveda, essential oils and aromatherapy, Bach Flower Remedies, and subtle-energy traditions.
The intention is not simply to accumulate knowledge. It is to understand, experience and integrate what we learn into our everyday lives.
At a time when many of us feel increasingly disconnected—from ourselves, from one another and from the natural world—regeneration can offer a different way forward: one based on awareness, relationship, responsibility and care.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
The course is open to everyone.
You may already work as a naturopath, therapist or wellbeing practitioner and wish to explore familiar subjects from a different perspective. You may simply be curious about wellbeing and personal development and have no previous experience at all.
Each weekend can be taken independently, although the five sessions have been designed as a journey, with each one adding another piece to the overall picture.
Those joining the complete course will therefore be given priority when places are allocated.
WEEKEND 1: 21 and 22 November 2026
The Mind & Emotions
Awareness · Mindfulness · Emotional Intelligence
Our journey begins with ourselves.
How do our thoughts, senses and emotions influence the way we experience the world? And what changes when we begin to observe them more consciously?
We will explore traditional meditation practices alongside contemporary approaches to working with the mind and emotions. Through attention to our senses, feelings, habits and relationships, we will begin developing a simple personal practice for greater awareness and emotional balance.
We will explore how greater emotional intelligence can help us recognise habitual patterns and make wiser, more compassionate decisions.
For practitioners working directly with clients, this weekend will also explore the importance of empathy, gratitude and compassion—for ourselves as well as for others.
We will explore:
- Meditation and attention
- Understanding thoughts and mental patterns
- Reconnecting with the senses
- Recognising and working with emotions
- Emotional intelligence
- Habits, routines and relationships
- Empathy, gratitude and compassion
- Developing a personal practice
WEEKEND 2: 12 and 13 December 2026
Ayurveda & Your Essential Nature
Constitution · Balance · Lifestyle
Ayurveda offers us a fascinating framework for understanding our individual nature and our relationship with the world around us.
We will explore the ayurvedic concept of mind and emotions through the three doshas, three gunas and five elements, and consider how these traditional concepts can help us reflect upon our constitution, tendencies and lifestyle.
Through the Ayurvedic concepts of prakruti—our underlying constitution—and vikruti—our present state of balance or imbalance—we can begin asking useful questions about how we live and behave.
Does the food we eat suit us? What kind of exercise supports us? How does our work affect us? What habits help restore balance, and which may be taking us further away from it?
Rather than prescribing one way of living for everyone, Ayurveda invites us to understand our individual nature and become more conscious of what we need.
We will explore:
- The five elements
- The three doshas
- The three gunas
- Prakruti and vikruti
- Individual constitution
- Diet and lifestyle
- Exercise and daily routines
- Recognising patterns of balance and imbalance
WEEKEND 3: 16 and 17 January 2027
The Regenerative Power of Plants
Essential Oils · Aromatherapy · Touch
Our third weekend introduces another relationship with nature: the world of aromatic plants and their essential oils.
We will explore how oils have traditionally been understood within Ayurveda as well as their use in modern aromatherapy, particularly in relation to mood, emotion and wellbeing.
Most importantly, this will be a practical weekend.
We will become familiar with individual essential oils and learn how to select, combine and blend them safely for everyday use.
We will explore their application in simple massage techniques, baths, home preparations and atmospheric use, while also considering some of the more subtle and traditional ways in which aromatic plants have been understood.
We will explore:
- Essential oils and the world of aromatic plants
- Ayurveda and oils
- Aromatherapy and emotional wellbeing
- Understanding individual oils
- Safe use and dilution
- Creating simple blends
- Massage and touch
- Baths and home preparations
- Atmospheric and subtle magical uses of essential oils
WEEKEND 4: 20 and 21 February 2027
Bach Flowers & the Emotional Journey
Plants · Emotions · Purpose
The fourth weekend takes us into a subtler relationship between plants and emotional life through the system of Bach Flower Remedies.
Edward Bach developed his remedies around the observation of emotional and mental states, seeing these states as important signposts on the individual’s journey through life.
We will explore the structure of Bach’s system—including the 12 Healers and 7 Helpers—and learn ways of identifying remedies for ourselves and, where appropriate, within client work.
Alongside the practical use of the remedies, we will explore some of the deeper ideas that influenced Bach’s understanding of nature, including traditional plant folklore, astrology, elemental correspondences and alchemical symbolism.
We will also demonstrate how kinesiology may be incorporated as an additional method of exploration.
We will explore:
- The philosophy behind Bach Flower Remedies
- Emotional and mental states
- The 12 Healers and 7 Helpers
- Choosing remedies
- Personal and practitioner applications
- Elements and plant symbolism
- Traditional plant folklore
- Alchemical perspectives
- An introduction to kinesiology techniques
WEEKEND 5: 20 and 21 March 2027 Integration
The Chakras · Reflection · Bringing the Journey Together
Our final weekend brings the different threads of the course together.
We will use the traditional framework of the seven chakras as a journey through different dimensions of human experience, exploring nine essential practical reflections associated with each.
Through this framework we will revisit themes encountered throughout the previous weekends: mind, emotion, constitution, nature, relationship, balance and purpose.
We will also explore traditional and symbolic connections with yoga and Vedic philosophy, the three gunas and the Major Arcana of the Tarot as different maps through which people have attempted to understand transformation and the journey of the self.
Practical exercises will introduce subtle-energy approaches using pendulums and crystals, together with selected marma points associated with the chakra system.
Above all, this final weekend is about integration: bringing together what we have experienced and asking how it can become meaningful in our own lives.
We will explore:
- The seven chakras
- Nine essential reflections
- Understanding, regeneration and integration
- The three gunas
- Yoga and Vedic perspectives
- Symbolism of the Major Arcana
- Pendulum work
- Crystals and subtle-energy practices
- Selected marma points
- Integrating the five weekends
